de Young Museum

Avenue and Fulton Street in Golden Gate Park, the de Young Museum is San Francisco's oldest public museum. The collection of American art includes over 200 paintings spanning the nation's history and geography. de Young also exhibits collections of from other cultures including Africa, Mesoamerica, Oceania, and American folk art. Legion of Honor
The Legion of Honor is located near 34th Avenue and Clement Street in
Lincoln Park. The Legion of Honor contains paintings and sculpture of European and ancient art and also hosts travelling exhibitions. Admission is free on the second Wednesday of each month.
